[Hello network it's Black Jack again, and he looks just a displeased as the last time you saw him. At least it's for a different reason this time.]

I am... in need of some assistance.

[Asking for help on a public line usually isn't his style, but he's been getting a little desperate here.]

[Black Jack holds up a small and pathetic looking Magikarp, who happens to have his Skitty hanging off one of his fins. She may or may not have been using him as a fish shaped toy.]

Will someone please enlighten me on the purpose of this particular species? None of the others I have encountered have been so... useless.

[The Magikarp doesn't seem fazed by the fact his trainer is dissing him on the network or that he's got a pink cat chewing him. This is actually all great fun for him, and he "karps" happily.]

To be perfectly honest, the only reason it's here is because I felt sorry for it.

You're gonna regret it, man. I mean, I don't know much about these things but this guy says they can turn into something really gnarly but they've got a bad attitude because people don't treat 'em that well.

_{[He pauses to playfully smoosh his Magikarp's face, the latter of which blows a raspberry up at him.]}

I'd rather not get eaten by this guy when he turns into a giant killing machine, yanno?

Look in yer Pokedex for somethin' called 'Gyrados'. That outta help~.

Do I look like the sorta fella that would lie ta ya? [Don't answer that.] The 'Dex is pretty spot on when it comes ta these Pokemon~.

They're peaceful fish that don't fight. Honestly, the world could use more of them.

I thought the point was to find fighters and win battles with them, which this thing has been counterproductive to.

Depends what you think the point is. Some people just want to sit back and try and raise a few in peace and quiet.

Their purpose is to look perfectly innocent and weak until they evolve and try to eat you. Be polite and respectful with yours, just in case.

And do they try to eat people often? [Because look at this thing it can't even protect itself.] I'll have to find something bigger then, to deter that kind of behavior.

I don't have exact numbers, but a while back a kid pretty much had to fight his way out of a stomach. It didn't look very pleasant.

Get an Electric-type if you can. They have the advantage in a fight.

It has no purpose. Do not let anyone attempt to convince you that its evolution is useful. They're lying.

[He really wants to get that out there apparently, because it's said with a bit of urgency.]
